The Media Council of Kenya (MCK) and the Council of Governors (CoG) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that will see the media collaborating with county governments in disseminating information from the counties.
The two institutions promised to assist and support the media in promoting professional coverage of devolved units.
The national government will release 1.4 billion shillings to compensate displaced families in Likoni to facilitate the Dongo Kundu Special Economic Zone (SEZ) construction.

President William Ruto on Wednesday launched the eagerly awaited Hustler Fund at Green Park Terminus in Nairobi.
Speaking during the launch, the president said the fund would be vital in unlocking economic equality in the country.
“I am happy that from today we shall all be equal as Kenyans. This is the fund that is going to equalize all the people of Kenya so that every citizen can know that they matter and they count,” he said.
