{"id":1672,"date":"2022-11-09T16:21:25","date_gmt":"2022-11-09T13:21:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/giliticsmedia.co.ke\/?p=1672"},"modified":"2022-11-09T16:21:31","modified_gmt":"2022-11-09T13:21:31","slug":"meru-county-mcas-end-their-tussle-with-their-county-boss","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/giliticsmedia.co.ke\/meru-county-mcas-end-their-tussle-with-their-county-boss\/","title":{"rendered":"<strong>Meru county MCAs end their tussle with their county boss<\/strong>"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>By Adrian<\/strong> Maloba<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meru county MCAs have ended their tussle between them and Meru Governor Kawira Mwangaza over ward fund allocation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The MCAs have vowed to concentrate on their constitutional roles of oversight, legislation and representation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is after they were informed that the ward fund was illegal by the controller of Budget Dr. Margaret Nyakang\u2019o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Nyakang\u2019o also said the MCA will have equitable distribution of ward development projects through County Integrated Development Plan [CIDP] or Annual Development Plan [ADP].<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, the MCAs noted that any arising disputes should directly be addressed to the governor and not them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2018\u2018The governor said she is responsible for identifying projects across the county.
